Socklet

The socklet size of is the shortest. Cut low below the ankle, they are great as a trainer liner for running shoes or trainers.

Anklet

These sports socks cover the ankle but are still very lightweight. Again, ideal for running shoes and trainers.

What size do I need?

Choose the same size ankle sock as your foot size. If you have a narrow fitting (D or less for men, B or less for women) or are on the border between sizes you should go down a size. The sock should be a snug fit with not wrinkles.

Ankle socks for men sizes:

• Medium – 6-8.5UK (EUR 39-42.5)
• Large – 9-11.1UK (EUR 43-46.5)
• XL – 12-14UK (EUR 47-49)

Tactel

Tactel is soft, light and strong. Ankle socks for sport containing Tactel® fibres are smooth and breathable. During testing it was 20% lighter than most other fibres and dries eight times faster than cotton.

Most of the 1000 Mile double layer socks have a 100% Tactel® inner lining which helps to reduce friction on the skin but also helps keep feet cool and dry during activities.

Merino wool

Merino is one of softest types of wool available and is perfect for regulating body temperature. It provides warmth without overheating the wearer and its moisture wicking properties combined with being slightly moisture repellent allow the wearer to remain dry.
