Once applied this hydrocolloid plaster provides immediate relief from the pain of blisters whilst the long-lasting adhesion keeps the plaster in place on the skin for longer.

Not only does it cushion the area to prevent further rubbing it promotes faster healing of the blister underneath.

What is a blister?

A blister on the foot is a small pocket of fluid that forms between the layers of skin. It is usually caused by friction or pressure from shoes when running or walking. It serves as a protective cushion for the underlying tissue, however, they are painful. Prevention is always the best cure for a blister!

What are Blister plasters?

Blister plasters are adhesive dressings which stick to your skin and protect you from blisters. They're excellent for treating existing blisters. However, if you apply them before you start walking, they also help prevent blisters forming in the first place.

How to apply Blister plasters

  • Before applying Ultimate Performance blister plasters, ensure your foot is clean and dry.
  • Warm the plaster in your hands for a few minutes beforehand; this helps it adhere better and last longer.

Avoiding blisters

Place the blister plaster on areas where you're prone to blisters, such as the back of your heel, the inside of your foot, or between your toes. After applying the plaster, put on your sock to keep it securely in place. The plaster should stay on for 24 to 48 hours, providing protection from friction and preventing blisters.
